Hey guys!!! I’m back sooner than you thought. Today I’m talking to you guys about quite an interesting topic. As most of you may already know, I’m a student at the University of Cape Town, studying towards a double major undergraduate degree in Information Systems and Computer Science. Yeah I know, sounds complicated. But anyway, if you’re a student or you were ever a student then you know the constant “student-broke-life”. It’s literally a thing all over the world and I happen to be suffering from it on a daily! It’s so tough being constantly broke and not being able to do all the things I wanna do like shop and travel all day every day lol.
I really wanna travel more once I’m done with school and I already have my travel saving plan set out. I’ve not been to too many countries but the few I’ve visited make me wanna explore more and more. I’ve visited 2 countries and lived in 2 countries making my travel destinations a total of four. When I was in primary school, my family and I visited Nigeria and then Dubai when I was in high school. I’ve also lived in Kenya for 17 years and currently South Africa for 5 years. Being exposed to these different cultures has made me so hungry for travel. I am currently planning a visit to Johannesburg in July/August as I have never visited Jo’burg before. I am too excited for this trip and I can’t wait to share my experience! In addition, I’m planning another travel destination in December which I don’t wanna share with you all just yet. (shhh, it’s a surprise)
Anyway, with all my travel hopes and dreams I couldn’t be happier when Travelstart approached me and told me of the new Student Flights page they have set up on their website to assist all of us students who wish to travel on a budget. They are literally going to make our dreams come true!
On their Student Flights page, they share with you quite a number of tips to help you travel on a budget. For example, knowing the best times to travel. For us students, travelling during off-peak seasons is much more affordable and possible! They also have a search engine that helps you search through all the available local and international flights to find the most affordable flight for you! There are a number of popular student travel destinations for example Madagascar, Egypt, Brazil and Hungary which are very affordable to visit as a student. These popular destinations are also shared with you on Travelstart’s Student Flights page. Student discounts have also been included so if you have yourself a valid student card then get ready for your next trip guys!!!! In addition, they also share with you tips on how to save money while travelling so as not to break the bank and come back from your trip a pauper. I used their search engine today and compared prices with what I usually pay for my Cape Town to Nairobi flights and I was so so impressed!!!! Definitely a deal. They even let you in on how to book flights without needing a credit card. So guys, you better head on over to Travelstart’s Student Flights page and start booking your trips now. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
Students can now flourish just like any other travel gurus out there! 🙂 Have a lovely day and talk to you sooner than you think.
Until next time
