Heey guys! If you guys follow me on Instagram and are subscribed to my YouTube channel then you probably know that I’m the South African agent of Miss Fashion Week Africa 2018. I am so happy to be a part of this. I really want to uplift women in Africa through my blog and being a part of Miss Fashion Week Africa is really giving me that opportunity to reach many beautiful talented African queens and help them better themselves. If you don’t know about Miss Fashion Week, it is a global contest organization that aims to promote models all around the world. It is based in the United States and this year it has included Africa in auditions for the Miss Fashion Week Modelling contest.
All models (petite, plus size, runway and international models) are eligible to compete as they embrace true diversity.
Miss Fashion Week Africa is a partner of Miss Fashion Week that handles the modelling contest in Africa before the grand finale in Miami, Florida this December. Last year, Adama Jobe from Gambia won the title of Miss Fashion Week Universe and she’s literally been doing even greater things since then in the fashion industry.
Five winners from Africa representing the five regions of Africa will proceed to the grand finale in Florida, USA. Prizes and Rewards: The five finalists from Africa will receive the following goodies: -$1,000 each,(plus opportunity to win the $5000 grand finale cash prize) – Appearances at the world famous New York Fashion Week – Modeling Contracts and Brand Ambassador Contracts – Access to international modeling agencies, fashion designers, photographers, magazines, media, bloggers, publishers, and other relevant contacts.
To register all you need to do is visit Miss Fashion Week Africa’s website and fill in the model registration form. You will then be required to pay a registration fee of $15 or R200 to your respective agent. This fee includes entry into the city, state and national title. It also includes the participant’s crown and sash prize package. After online registration, sit back and wait for auditions in August which will be conducted by various country agents and country winners will be selected. These winners will then go through online voting where 5 regional finalists will be voted for and proceed to the grand finale in Miami, Florida this December.
